These wheelchairs are modular in design, and offer a wide range of options to tailor the chair to your exact requirements.

Greencare Wheelchair
GREENCARE DB1
This British design is so advanced that it can even change as your needs change…

  • Front wheels – a range of sizes for the front wheels means you can choose from small wheels for compact turning or large wheels for easier negotiation of obstacles, while a choice of wheel positions can make the chair more manoeuverable or more stable, depending on your needs.
  • Rear wheels – like the front wheels, there is a range of sizes available, from larger wheels for self-propulsion, to smaller wheels for chairs pushed by an attendant. The larger wheels all feature puncture-proof tyres, optional quick-release wheels and optional ergonomic polyurethane push rims. You can also select a wheel position to ensure stability and good seating posture.
  • Footrests – vertical position can be adjusted in increments of 1 mm, and footrests swing out of the way in both directions, making it easier to get close to things, for example in the kitchen or bathroom.
  • Seating – comfort seats in a range of widths are available. Comfort of the backrest can be increased with the optional tension-adjustable back system, while the armrests are available in 2 heights.
  • Basic chair price: £395

Most of the options can be changed as your needs change. For more information, visit www.greencaremobility.com, or contact us for a brochure.

Invacare Action3 Wheelchair INVACARE ACTION3 NG
This chair manoeuvres smoothly due to its light rigid and well-balanced frame, and the improved ergonomic design enables greater user independence.

  • Rear wheels – theneeds of most users can be met by the fifteen different wheel positions, and the choice of push rims. The brake lever is longer for easier use, and can be folded out of the way for side transfers.
  • Footrests – both the height and the angle or the foot rests are adjustable, and there is a quick-release mechanism for swinging the footrests out of the way.
  • Seating – the seat angle is adjustable to make it more suitable for a hemiplegic user, or an active one. Armrests are available in different heights and lengths.
  • Optional extras – this wheelchair has a wide range of add-ons, from head supports, cushions and seat belts to anti-tip castors and spoke protectors.
  • Chair price from £395
