Active Ability offers a range of mobility equipment for short or longer term hire for those times - short or long - when you need to be more mobile. The range available currently includes the following:
- manual wheelchairs,
- powered wheelchairs
- car boot scooters
- mid range scooters
The hiring period can be from a few days - perhaps to get you out for a special occasion such as a wedding - right up to several weeks, as required.
Our car boot scooters fold up easily for transportation, even in a small car. Our middle-sized scooters, which have a larger range, will still fit into many makes of car.
Machines may be hired within Glasgow and the surrounding area and can be collected from our premises or delivered for an additional charge. All powered equipment comes with a full set of instructions for safe use.
Please book as far ahead as possible to avoid disappointment as demand can be high especially in the summer months. Contact us for details of charges and availability.
